There are many forms of alternate fuel out there, but most are very expensive, which is why most people are buying new cars and still using old fuel. For example, we can use bio mass which is basically using animal waste to power our appliances. Bio mass is a renewable source of energy that we can almost anywhere. If we used bio mass more often we could probably cut down carbon dioxide emissions. Bio mass can be found almost anywhere, and because there are many animals, their waste can be used to power cars as well. Compressed air is a good choice for our future because they only require air. According to one company, by now they should be able to make a car that can run on compressed air and can travel 100 mpg and a high speed of 96 mph! Compressed air is a good choice because it's cheap, mainly found everywhere. Compressed air is cheap, ten times cheaper than regular fuels today. For diesel users, vegetable oil is another possibility. Vegetable oil may be expensive but is much better for the environment. If everybody pitched in to make our environment better, we would make our world a much better place and our air would be cleaner. We could also use hydrogen, but that would make air full of hydrogen and the prices of hydrogen are ten times more expensive than those of gasoline. That means one hundred more times as expensive as compressed air. I think the future of fuel lies with compressed air.

The past 10 years Gas prices have been shooting up. Anyone who owns a car has seen that gas prices are extremely unstable and seem to be jolting up and down. Researchers have also noticed this and that's why they've been coming up with some solutions to our fuel needs. Currently there are some proposed alternatives but nothing has truly gone large scale. Though Currently in the World there has been a large increase of : Electric Cars and Biofuel. These in the past few years have truly opened People's Eyes. The major advantages of all of these is that they will help our Environment and They'll relatively in a near future be a cheaper source of energy.

Fuel prices are only rising and the enviroment is suffering researchers may have found the future of alternative fuels. Electric Cars, These vehicles can go up to 200 miles on 1 full charge. This is extremely convinent and the best part is it can be charged at any normal power outlet. This has led to this field being studied the most and the increased popularity. Currently these cars are out on the road and being used by regular people. Electric Cars currently do not have the kind of support that regular cars but possibly they'll be our future of fuel.

While some people are thinking electric cars , others are thinking biofuel. Biofuel is a type of liquid fuel derived from certain plants. This has been a popular idea because it'd generate jobs for farmers to grow more energy providing plants and it's a secure source of energy. Biofuel is also a lot cleaner then regular petroleum gas so it would help clean up our environment and help make our earth green again.

The future is looking greener everyday and one day we won't have to depend on foreign oil and other methods to generate our fuel. One day it'll all be produced right here at home. Our future is truly a green future.

Home heating, cooling, water heating and gas for appliances are some of the major costs homeowners spend every year out of pocket. Part of it is gas prices, but a lot of it is also the fact that when we turn on the heat, or the television we rarely think of it in terms of how much gas am I using and how much money does this translate into.

Alternative fuels both help with costs and make us more conscious of our habits. Solar appliances are, in my opinion, the most affordable and popular option because, well, the sun's available everywhere. Solar cookers for long meals, portable solar water heaters, solar ice makers, solar powered chargers are all examples of ways you can use free sunlight to live quite comfortably.

Costs are a major factor when deciding to switch. Now there are grants that can help people who want to switch and an Internet search with some persistence is all you need. There are also countless blogs that have DIY energy ideas that you need a weekend, and some materials to make. There are videos as well, if you are like me and cannot follow instructions.

Use masonry heaters or wood pellet stoves to heat your home instead of electric or gas heaters especially if you do not need to heat up the entire house or apartment.

Wind power systems, geothermal systems, using methanol or biodiesel based fuels are also options you can look at as long as you have appropriate converters, appliances, and don't live in a neighborhood that has some kind of law against it.

Head down to the library to get a book, try an easy project or two, calculate how much you save, and keep going from there. My favorite is a bicycle-powered food processor to look up.

Good luck!

By Wes Homan

These days with the new ecological trend everyone is trying to reduce their gasoline consume and even more search for alternative fuel.

Since the 19 century when the industrial development has begun, the world's atmosphere has became more and more polluted and the percent of CO2 has kept on raising and determined an increase on the world's medium temperature.

This raising of the temperature has caused at his turn the melting of the glaciers located at the North and South Pole which lead to the raise of the sea level.

This and all the catastrophic scenarios assumed by world class scientists made everyone think more about the protection of the environment and finding new alternative fuel.

Cars that run on electrical consumption are no longer just a dream or a project on the paper. They really exists, but unfortunately the technology is not enough developed to create some reliable cars that can achieve the performances of today classic cars that run on gasoline.Besides these electric cars have appeared alternative fuels like ethanol or gas obtained from distillate corn.

All the world's governments are giving big discounts to auto producers and to the consumers that buy and use cars with alternative fuel. Also the cars too old and with no emission reducer are subject to some heavy taxes before being allowed to circulate on the roads.

No matter what the alternative fuel is this should represent a more healthy way of using our today's transportation vehicles allowing us to live in world cleaner and who knows maybe even healthier.
