Getting a job is a recession hit economy is very tough but definitely possible. Instead of getting bogged down by the situation we must stay calm and understand the situation. We must understand that even Bill Gates has had his own share of worries; Positive thinking and a calm mind will go a long way.

Here are some tips that I would like to share

1. Consider finding a job as a job- it is wise to you all the free hours you have to find a new job that you feel best fits your profile. Normally you would be working for about eight hours a day and hence you should spend that time to search your job.

2. Contact your buddies to get new leads- It is no use contacting the same group of people again and again without trying anything different. Try contacting old buddies for help. I am sure they would understand the situation and help you. Always remember- help will be offered to those people who ask for it.

3. Be smart- try to present yourself in way that differentiates you from others. Show your skills which were horned from past experience to prove that you are ready to provide quality service

4. Used linkedin- it is an online social networking site for professionals. Find people who might be interested in your profile and speak with them.

5. Always approach things with positive frame of mind and success will follow.
