Its possible but it depends on how much you will work at it and how much the other people know about it.

I have played guitar for 26 years now, and it has never been something that you can fool people with. Either you practive and get good, or you don’t and people will know.

Yes, this should be possible–possible if you are a musical child prodigy, and begin your one-month of lessons at age 3.
By the end of the month, people will be utterly amazed with how well you can play!
I would say it’s not impossible at all providing you are a mathematical genius with a great ear for pitch and did nothing but cram on it for the entire month without eating or sleeping…..but even then you may still come across sounding shallow and rehearsed; SO
just play chopsticks & whatever else you may know and admit that’s all you’ve learned so far lol

If your audience is experienced playing music, then no, it can’t be done. Someone will know.
you’ll learn one decent piece..MAYBE two…and after that when ppl want more you’ll look like a flop. and if you run yourself into the ground trying to learn one piece its gonna be chaos….besides, you have to know most all of your harmonic and non harmonic scales, basic fingering, all your basic scales, and all your arpeggios. its really an insult to those of use who have been playing for years when ppl try to do things like this, it kind of insults what we’re trying to do.its gonna be super hard, b/c even to learn just one song you’re going to have to know where just about every note on the piano is, or else you won’t even be able to begin your song, b/c you won’t know where to start! b/c all those little white keys look EXACTLY the same…good luck with this…but i don’t think this is gonna be anything to rave about….but to each his own. just make sure you pick something in a VERY easy key…try a basic piece in the key of “C” no sharps, no flats…b/c w/out @ least a little training, sharps and flats are gonna kill you…..hah…well best to ya!
by the way…why do u need to fake being able to play piano?
No. I have played piano for fifteen years and clarinet for ten. Music is a skill that takes years of dedication, refining, and tutelage to be successful.
