Program That Will Break Up Large Projects Into Smaller Chunks, And Preserve Folder Heirarchy?

I am running MAC OS and I am looking for a program that will break up large folder sets into smaller chunks that can be burned to disk. I am trying to find a program, though, that will preserve the folder hierarchy and label the new chunks sequentially.

    Im sorry but i do not know how this verison for mac works exactly but you install winrar for mac os x then i you get the menu options (right click on windows) then its like archieve, in the general tab its split into volumes and it will ask for a size. Then It will make archieves of the program in volumes
